A Small Reminder
I write this to Remind you
Of the oceans gentle gusts,
And gifts of roses freshly pulled
That bring your heart such trust.
I write this to Remind you
Of the dew on morning grass,
And sands of time well spent in twain
That fill the hour glass.
I write this to Remind you
Of the time we spent as one,
Writing life's sweet fairy tale
Of full moon's and the sun.
I write this to Remind you
Of the stars that bind the sky,
And wishes wished upon their light
Bestowed by you and I.
Of all the reasons reasoned
There are none so right as this,
To praise the glory that is you
The bringer of true bliss.
Of all the screenplays scripted
There are none so great a show,
As one we've watched together
Basking near the stages glow.
Of all the melodies written
There are none so sweet a tune,
As one we've heard together
Every eve, morn, night and noon.
Of all the Lovers Loving
There are no two close as us,
I write this to Remind you
Of the oceans gentle gust.
